Shot Lab, a new basketball skill development facility, needed a visual identity.  The goal was to create a visual system that spoke to their combination of coaching, high tech equipment, and biomechanics that would help players improve their shot and ball-handling skills.

From discovery, brand attributes were established and user profiles reflected semi-pro athletes as well as young athletes looking to advance their basketball skills on a varsity level. Developing a visual identity that spoke directly to the user profiles was key to the project outcome.

The combination mark reflects the features of a sports logo along with a visual relation to science. The result was a visual identity system that works well on any application, such as wayfinding and basketball jerseys.
